Perthshire Addition

This beautiful family needed more space for their growing kiddos and live in mother.

As much as they loved to cook and entertain their family and guests, this kitchen and dining space just wasn't cutting it.

So.... We started laying the formwork for what was to become a grand kitchen and dining space. This also allowed us to add an additional bedroom to the home, where the kitchen used to be, for their growing son.

This addition came with an entirely new roof and a much needed update to all of the windows and exterior doors!

We added a large casement window to the kitchen so the owners could keep an eye on their dogs and kiddos as they played in the yard. Another set of large tilt & turn windows molded together with a few picture windows and a new French door brought in so much natural light to the space, lighting is only needed when the sun goes down.

It really is a giant kitchen, perfect for holiday meals and gatherings with friends and family!

Complete with a farmhouse sink, custom wrapped range hood, gigantic butcherblock island, and enough cabinet and pantry storage you'd have a hard time filling, let alone remembering where you put everything. The sink casement windows came in a bit later than expected, but those made their way into that rough opening eventually!

The front door, along with all of the windows around the house, were replaced with energy efficient upgrades and complimented the new exterior paint colors so well!
