These clients wanted to turn the kids playroom into a formal office, so we started with some renderings

Then, after demoing all of the flooring, we installed some beautiful new hardwoods throughout the main floor, stairs, and 2nd floor office area. We then installed a beautiful new stair railing fabricated on site and gave the staircase and living room walls a new accent (with a hidden secret).

This wall used to be a solid piece of sheetrock with a SURPRISINGLY LARGE unused space under the stairs. We framed in a door opening, continued the flooring into this space, and installed a hidden door that is tied into the accent wall trim. Our trim carpenter did a great job closing the gaps.

The door is operated on 2 lateral hinges that allow the door to open nearly flush with the wall so there were no issues opening it on inward or outward and bumping into furniture or losing storage space in this area.

We installed a gorgeous glass wall with an inward and outward swinging door, giving this homeowner some much needed privacy while he was working.

We continued the flooring throughout the office space, gave the room a fresh new coat of paint, new fan and recessed lighting, and another accent wall for acoustics. There's a hidden door in that paneling as well giving access to the attic space (but you wouldn't know it!).

Can you spot the hidden door in the acoustic paneling? We installed 2 accent lights as well on either side of the accent wall that really set the mood in the space!

To finish things off, we added an accent paneling to the kitchen island giving it a much-needed face lift. We replaced the majority of the homes dated white outlets and switches with new, screwless faced, black outlets and black rocker switches. We had such a great time on this project!
